Dragon Fruit Toast Tart
Overview
I don’t know if dragon fruit is used in egg tarts, but I haven’t seen any toast egg tarts with fruit. There was 1/4 dragon fruit left, so I put it in the toast egg tart. I have never been a fan of egg tarts made with puff pastry, but this toast version is much more palatable. There is a saying that if you want it sweet, add some salt. This egg tart does not add sugar, only salt, a little pinch. Toast is originally sweet; although dragon fruit has a light taste, it is also sweet; and this Shuhua milk, although there is no added sugar, is obviously much sweeter than pure milk. Three kinds of sweetness come together, and I don’t want any more sweetness. Will adding a little salt make the sweetness more pronounced or dilute it? You can try anything. . . .
