Steps
-
Required materials; dumpling wrappers, salad oil (or corn oil).
-
Take a small bowl, which should be completely dry, and pour in salad oil or corn oil (it is best not to use soybean oil or peanut oil).
-
Put enough water in the steamer, bring it to a boil, and brush the steaming curtain with oil.
-
Grease the cutting board.
-
Take a piece of dumpling wrapper and brush oil on it. Make sure that all of it is brushed, and there can be no unbrushed areas.
-
Take another one and put it on top and brush it with oil again.
-
Repeat the operation, each piece must be completely brushed with oil, and there must be no omissions. There are 5-8 pieces in a stack, and I am used to using 8 pieces. The top one is unpainted.
-
Flatten it with your hands, and press it when you turn it over.
-
Use a rolling pin to roll it out to 1-1.5 times its size.
-
Put it in a steamer, cover it and steam it before making the next batch. After it is done, put it in the steamer and continue to steam. Repeat this operation until all the noodles are done. Put them all in the steamer and steam for another 3-5 minutes.
-
Remove and cool slightly.
-
Separate each piece.
-
As thin as cicada wings.
-
Separate them all and place on a plate.
-
Done.
