Little Pig Taro Buns
Overview
I had 500 grams of filling left over from yesterday’s ice-skin making. In the spirit of not wasting, I used it to make steamed buns, just in time for breakfast tomorrow! Kill two birds with one stone.

Steps
-
Dissolve yeast sugar with warm water and set aside.
-
Mix the flour, yeast and water into a dough.
-
Divide the dough into 16 portions.
-
Take a small piece of dough, unwrap it and wrap it with filling. Pinch and seal the dough downwards.
-
Take a small piece of dough and flatten it, use chopsticks to make 2 small holes, and stick them on to make a pig nose
-
Take another 2 small pieces of dough and flatten them to become ears.
-
Paste 2 grains of black rice in the middle to make eyes, and a cute little pig is completed.
-
Place the prepared buns into the steamer and let them ferment naturally for 1 hour. After the water boils, steam over high heat for ten minutes. Tips: The mixed noodles can be filled with stuffing immediately, and can be steamed directly after fermentation, omitting the second fermentation time. I've always done it this way, it's very soft.
