How to make taro balls
Overview
Compared with other desserts, one of the great features of taro ball desserts is that they can be eaten hot. Although they are not paired with shaved ice in summer, the hot sweet potato soup is delicious when paired with taro balls. You can also add some ginger slices to add warmth throughout the winter.

-
Cut the taro into cubes and put it in the pressure cooker to cook, which is the lowest setting. You can add a little water appropriately.
-
Pour the prepared amount of tapioca flour into the plate.
-
Pour in water and sugar, knead the tapioca flour into a ball, and wait until the taro is cooked.
-
Open the pot, and after the taro is cooked, smash all the taro pieces. Make it into powder.
-
Mix cassava flour and taro flour and knead into a dough that is not sticky. If there is too much water during the kneading process, you can add cassava flour or replace it with starch. Then knead into long strips and cut into small pieces. The whole taro ball is complete.
-
Boil the taro balls in boiling water until the taro balls float to the surface and cook for 1 minute before eating. Place the taro balls on top of the cooked sweet potatoes. This winter taro ball dish is complete.
