In the Northeast, lettuce is rarely eaten cooked except for being eaten sparingly and used as pickles. This lettuce with oyster sauce is salty and delicious

Steps
-
Wash the large pieces of lettuce and tear them in half. Be sure not to make them too small, as they will shrink after blanching.
-
Prepare a pot of water, add lettuce, and add a spoonful of salt (salt is added to keep the green vegetables green and not turn yellow)
-
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, white sugar, chicken essence and thirteen spices. The ratio I use is 1:1:0.5, the ratio of oyster sauce, soy sauce and white sugar. Others can be added according to personal taste
-
Heat oil in a pan, add in lettuce, stir-fry briefly, and pour in the sauce from step 3
-
Stir-fry twice until the sauce is evenly stirred. Just put it on a plate and take it out of the pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. The color is very nice
