  7. Pour in the warm cream, being careful as the liquid boils and splashes out. If it is too thin, you can continue to cook it for a while, stir it with a wooden spatula, and scrape off the liquid on the sides and bottom of the pot to prevent local overheating and scorching. Pour it into a clean container and use it when needed.
