Go to the farm to pick fresh and relatively ripe strawberries.

Rinse the strawberries under running water to remove any dust, then soak them in salt water for ten minutes.

Brush lightly with a small toothbrush, rinse under running water and remove the stem. After rinsing once, drain the water, cut in half, sprinkle with a thin layer of sugar and marinate for an hour.

Put a little water in a steel pot and boil the rock sugar until it becomes saccharified.

Add the drained strawberries and cook together.
