Complementary food for 10 months and above: baked toast sticks
Overview
This toast is sugar-free and salt-free. I made it with a bread machine. It comes out very crispy, just like eating biscuits. It can be used for children to grind their teeth or as a staple food. It is also good to break it into pieces and soak it in milk. You can use any kind of toast you make to make these bread sticks, and the oven temperature can be flexibly adjusted according to your oven. The strips should be cut evenly so that they can be heated uniformly and they will be delicious when baked. Otherwise, some will be burnt and some will still be soft, which will not taste good! I won’t go into how to make toast here, but you can check out the many previous recipes.

Cut the toast into slices, be sure to have consistent thickness.

Cut the toast into strips, like this.

My oven is relatively large, so it is just full. If the oven is small, you can make half the amount.

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees in advance, then put it in the middle rack and bake it for 20-30 minutes. You can take it out in the middle to see if it is crispy.
