Delicious steamed egg custard
Overview
When I was young, my father was busy at work and my mother was busy with farm work. The family conditions were difficult and they often lived on noodles. When I was young, I was frail and sick. Whenever I was sick and lying in bed, my mother would always steam an extra egg for me to eat. The fragrant and soft taste of the eggs always made me forget my illness. The fragrance of the egg custard in the bowl was full of my mother's love. Now that I have grown up, I always make myself an egg custard after work. I chop some green onions and add a few drops of sesame oil. I don’t have to bother steaming it in a pot, just use a microwave. In just five minutes, that's what mommy tastes like.
