Snow Red Fruit
Overview
I love to eat hawthorn, and I have posted many recipes about hawthorn, such as hawthorn cake, hawthorn sauce, candied haws, fruit peel, etc. Every year when hawthorns come on the market, I will continue to make some hawthorn food. Every time I buy hawthorns, I buy several kilograms of them. I don’t eat much of them myself, but share them with my relatives and friends. It can be said that all the hawthorn series are made into my own snacks. I never buy these things from takeaway. If I want to eat them, I just make them myself and make snacks with my own characteristics, and I feel safe

Ingredients
Steps
-
Clean the fresh hawthorns, remove the stems, and use a metal pen cap to remove the core.
-
If you're worried about trouble, you don't have to remove the core. I only took part of it and left most of it out. Let whoever eats it eat the core themselves, haha.
-
Crush the rock sugar in a food processor and pour it into the pot. Be sure to break it up, otherwise it will be difficult to melt. You can also use white sugar directly. Add almost double the amount of water.
-
Simmer over low heat until big bubbles form
-
Add hawthorn and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes to coat the hawthorn with syrup
-
Roast or fry the cornstarch in advance and sift it into the pot with a mesh sieve
-
Stir while sifting so that the hawthorns are evenly coated with starch. Let cool and then eat
