Sweet and delicious ~ less oil pineapple cake
Overview
I’m thinking about what to cook during the short holiday~ The weather is so nice, it would be so nice to make a snack and bask in the sun on the balcony~~ The cooking novice wants to challenge more and more difficult things! In this pineapple cake, the pineapple is actually the embellishment. It uses less oil and is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It may be because it is a less oil version, so it is not too crispy, but the taste is not compromised~~ Give it a try if you like it!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Flour, oil, sugar, add water-dissolved yeast, and knead together into a smooth dough
-
Leave to ferment in a warm place until doubled in size
-
Wash the pineapple and soak it in salt water
-
Mix cornstarch with room temperature softened butter and salt to form a dough
-
After the dough has fermented, knead and deflate the air, then roll the dough into a cake and wrap the pastry dough
-
After wrapping, close the mouth and use a rolling pin to roll it into a cake shape
-
Fold it like this
-
Fold again, and repeat the previous two steps of "folding the quilt" four or five times. The more times, the better the integration of the dough
-
After folding, let it rest for about 20 minutes
-
Roll the rested dough into a rectangular shape, use a knife to cut out squares of about 3cm, then cut openings like this, and brush with a layer of egg wash
-
Turn over the cut side, turn over the uncut side through the opening, and brush with a layer of egg wash
-
Press a small piece of pineapple or your favorite jam in the center, and sprinkle with sesame seeds for decoration. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°. Then put it in the oven and bake it at 200° for 20 minutes. I placed it on the middle layer to help with coloring. After it was done, I baked it at 180° and then baked it at 180° for about 3 minutes. I did four tests first

Picture of the finished product~~The taste of the cake is sweet but a little salty, with the aroma of butter. The pineapple in the middle is sweet and delicious, and the outer layer is very crisp~Eat it while it's hot!
