Cut kidney beans into quarters.

Prepare dried chilies cut into sections, peppercorns, and garlic minced.

Put oil in the pot, enough to cover the kidney beans. When it reaches 60% heat, add the kidney beans and fry until the kidney beans become soft and the skin becomes wrinkled, about 5 minutes.

Remove the fried kidney beans and set aside.
