Creative "March 8th Festival" cake
Overview
This festive cake was specially created to celebrate International Women's Day. This is also my second attempt at making a decorated cake. Due to my lack of skills, I only created this simple cake this time. Although it is not exquisite, it is enough to wish all my fellow kitchen ladies a happy International Women's Day!

Steps
-
Everyone knows how to make cakes so I won’t go into details (my web page has a variety of cake making methods). This is an eight-inch cake base for a steamed cake.
-
Light cream, powdered sugar, coloring.
-
300g light cream, add 100g powdered sugar.
-
Beat until the texture is clear and can be removed from decoration.
-
Add 1 drop of purple and 1 drop of red coloring to the whipped cream (match the color according to your needs).
-
This is used to mix the green leaves.
-
Anticipating two colors (closer colors), divide the light pink into two parts, add 1 drop of red pigment to one part and mix well.
-
This is mixed dark pink icing frost.
-
This is a little meringue reserved for making leaves, and 1 drop each of blue and yellow added.
-
This is for the mixed green leaves.
-
Put the light pink and dark pink frosting into two piping bags respectively. Flatten the two piping bags and put them into one piping bag at the same time. Use 1 piping bag for the green leaves and set aside.
-
First spread a layer of buttercream on the cake, then use a flower nozzle to squeeze the 8-tooth flower into the outer circle, and then the inner circle.
-
Since I have never decorated a cake of this size, the frosting for the decoration was an estimate, but I didn’t expect it to be just enough.
-
Add some small green leaves to decorate.
-
Cut it open and see that the cake inside is light green.
-
Although this cake is not refined, it is the result of my self-taught creativity. It is quite beautiful, right?
-
The texture and color of this cake are quite satisfactory for a beginner. There is no end to learning and practice.

Let me show you the decorated cake I tried making for the first time.
