Ingredients
Steps
-
Sprinkle salt on the grapefruit peel and wash it with a brush.
-
Use a peeling tool to peel the skin so that it is thinner and easier to handle later.
-
Use a knife to remove the white ones, which are very bitter. I took the photo alone, so I didn’t capture how to remove the white color. This process is a bit tiring, but thinking that the less white there is, the less bitter it will be and the harder it will be.
-
After removing the white ones, I used two grapefruit peels.
-
Cut the grapefruit peel into shreds, the thinner the better. Add water and cook for ten minutes to remove the bitterness.
-
Use the pulp of one fruit and break it into small pieces. After the grapefruit peel is cooked, put the pulp on the bottom and the grapefruit peel on top.
-
Add rock sugar and a little water to boil. Because the meat itself has moisture.
-
After cooking for a while, when you see that the water is low, turn down the heat. Boil it slowly, turning it with chopsticks, and the water will simmer away.
-
Once cool, store in an airtight bottle. The bottle must be water-free and oil-free.
-
After adding honey and stirring, seal it for seven to ten days.
