Taro cake
Overview
During the Chinese New Year, we eat a lot of water chestnut cake, taro cake and carrot cake. My favorite is taro cake. Now make it yourself~

Prepare the required materials, dice the taro bacon

Heat oil and fry the dried shrimps and bacon until fragrant

Pour in the taro and continue to stir-fry

Add oyster sauce and salt, add some water and continue frying

Mix the rice flour with water and the fried taro, bacon and shrimp, add pepper and steam for about 20 minutes

The steamed taro cake will look good when it is cool before cutting it. It tastes delicious after being fried, or you can eat it directly. I usually put it in the refrigerator overnight and then take it out to cut it. This way it can be shaped and cut much easier and it will look better when cut out.
