Salt Baked Chicken (Rice Cooker Version)
Overview
There is no fumes in this dish, but you need to be patient and wait for the marinating to absorb the flavor, which is more time-consuming. While waiting for the marinating time, we can do what we are doing. Choose chicken that is not too fatty, as this will make it more delicious. When the garlic slices are in the rice cooker, watch them change color. Remove them when they turn golden, otherwise they will taste bitter and burnt

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare ingredients, half a chicken, wash and set aside
-
Prepare salt baking powder, 15 to 20 grams is enough for half a chicken
-
Apply the salt baking powder evenly to the front and back of the chicken body
-
After applying, drain the water, put it in a plastic bag, put it in the refrigerator, and marinate it for about one to two hours (the time is convenient for you to control, so that the chicken body can taste better)
-
I have a lot of free time now, so I prepared the seasonings and smashed the garlic
-
minced garlic
-
In a small pot, add oil. After the oil is warm, add garlic and sauté until fragrant
-
Pour in light soy sauce, about 5 tablespoons, and set aside after the garlic smell comes out.
-
Slice garlic and set aside
-
After the rice cooker is hot, add three tablespoons of oil and add the garlic slices just now (the garlic slices can also be changed to ginger slices, if you like)
-
Take out half the chicken from the refrigerator and put it into the rice cooker
-
Turn the chicken body over on both sides, and press the cooking button on the rice cooker. Just press the cooking button twice (control the chicken body carefully, otherwise it will be cooked)
-
Pick out the garlic slices from the rice cooker. If you cook it for too long, it will taste bitter. Do not use the garlic slices
-
Take out the chicken body, pour in the minced garlic and light soy sauce that was reserved earlier, and let it absorb the flavor. Since there is no other salt powder, marinate it with light soy sauce and minced garlic, so that the taste is just right (marine for half an hour to an hour)
-
Chop the chicken into pieces, pour soy sauce and eat with seasoning.
