Lamb with onions and cumin
Overview
Regarding the love of mutton, I think there are two situations. One is that I love it so much that I am a fan of it no matter how I cook it. Secondly, I hate it so much that I want to run away as soon as I smell the fishy smell, faster than I can run when encountering poisonous gas. My mother doesn't like to eat mutton, so my family rarely eats mutton since I was a child. Because my mother doesn't eat it, I think it's not delicious, so I don't eat it either. Walking on the street, if you encounter someone grilling mutton skewers, run away quickly. As soon as I smell that smell, I feel off-putting. This situation continued until after work. When eating hot pot, everyone always ordered beef for me and vowed that if you eat beef, there will be no smell at all, and the mutton belongs to us. At first, I always look for the beef plate and rinse the vegetables. However, you can't always eat small hot pot. Sometimes, a table of people gathers around a big pot, and the mutton is simmered back and forth. Not only does the smell spread all over the pot, but a large piece of beef that has just been put down may turn out to be mutton. If I refuse to eat with chopsticks, it will lead to questions, so I have to choose what I think is edible. Everyone likes grilled skewers very much. Every time I only eat grilled wings and grilled pig skin. Gradually, I was persuaded by others to bite my teeth and eat a skewer. The smell lingered in my mouth for a long time, but I didn't want to leave. I had to keep drinking water or eating to improve. Every time I hear about eating hot pot or skewers, it is a kind of torture for me. But under this kind of torture, I slowly fell in love with eating hot pot and grilled skewers. Now I especially like eating tendons. The grilled wings that I loved so much before have now faded out of the world. Later, I tried sheep scorpions and braised mutton, and I realized why I hated this kind of delicacy so much before. Is it just because of its bad smell? Just like every time we eat hot pot at home, my mother can't eat. Several days later, when my mother came back from outside, she still felt that there was a mutton smell in the house. However, I am still not used to eating hand-caught mutton or stewed mutton. When I was sorting out the refrigerator, I found a piece of mutton and wanted to take it out and cook it. If I only fried mutton, I still felt it was too greasy, so I added onions. Unexpectedly, my boss and I both chose onions and ate more. When eating steamed buns, break the buns apart and put the mutton inside. It is extremely delicious. Adding a lot of cumin powder and cumin grains can remove the mutton smell and also increase the taste.
