I bought fresh hawthorn in the supermarket and made a hawthorn roll. It seems to be also called Guodanpi.

Clean, core and stem the fresh hawthorns. The quality of these fresh hawthorns is pretty good. At least there is only one of them with that dirty stuff inside. Also, the hawthorns need to be immersed in water after being peeled, otherwise they will oxidize quickly. .

After beating the puree, add sugar to some of it, stir it, and bottle it as hawthorn puree. Later, you can spread it on bread, waffles, etc. and eat it. Add some sugar to the other part and cook it over low heat. Use chopsticks to stir continuously during this period. (You can taste the amount of sugar and increase it according to your taste. I added osmanthus sugar powder to increase the fragrance). Stir until thick. Prepare a flat container and grease it with oil. . You can also put plastic wrap on it.
