Put a little salt in the water, soak the cherries for 10 minutes, and clean them.

Remove the stems of the cherries and use a square-headed chopstick to push them out from one side. The cherry pit will pop out.

Remove all cherry pits in turn.

Put the cherries in the pot, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar, a small amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat.

Sterilize the glass container with boiling water and drain it.
