Ingredients
Steps
-
Online shopping for bean curd materials.
-
Put 150g of soy flour into a basin.
-
Prepare to add 900g of water to the soy milk.
-
Bean flour and water are ready.
-
Add a small amount of water to the soy flour and stir gradually with chopsticks.
-
Stir until smooth and grain-free, this step is very important.
-
Add water again and continue stirring with chopsticks.
-
Stir evenly to form a thicker soy milk.
-
Continue to add the remaining water and stir evenly.
-
Add 1000g of water to the pot and bring to a boil.
-
Pour slowly raw soy milk into the left hand, and use a spoon to gently stir it with the right hand. The heat should not be too high, just medium to low heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
-
Add 100g of 40 degree warm water into the bowl, add gypsum powder and stir evenly.
-
First add gypsum water to the basin, then add the boiled soy milk and stir it, and a flocculent shape will appear (I originally planned to make tofu curd, but I felt that I couldn't eat it in one meal, so I made tofu temporarily).
-
Wash the tofu box (bought online, used for the first time).
-
Wash the soy milk gauze and spread it in the tofu box.
-
Use a large spoon to scoop the flocculent soy milk in the basin into the tofu box (exactly one box).
-
Close the lid of the tofu box, place a plate under the tofu box to catch the tofu water (just put it on the plate), and pour it out in time.
-
Wrap the tofu in gauze (this is after pouring out several plates of filtered water).
-
The tofu has been pressed out of the water and is finished.
-
My first attempt at making tofu was quite successful. The tofu tasted quite good and was as white as jade.
