Flower Apple Pie
Overview
My child watched a cartoon and mentioned the apple pie that he was going to make, but he put it off for a long time. Today, he found that there was leftover cream cheese in the refrigerator from the last time he made cheesecake, so he was more excited than to act. I had the experience of making strawberry and mango pie last time, and I still think it is easy to get started this time.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Add a small spoonful of salt to the flour, soften the butter at room temperature and cut into small pieces. Steps to prepare pie crust.
-
Sift the high flour, and knead the small pieces of butter and flour with your hands.
-
Just knead all the flour and butter into this coarse grain.
-
Add sugar and mix well.
-
Slowly pour in the prepared milk, knead the flour into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
-
Prepare the pie filling: Peel and core the apples, cut into small pieces, and two eggs.
-
Soften the cream cheese at room temperature, add 15 grams of pie filling sugar, and beat with a whisk.
-
Pour in the two prepared eggs (reserve a few for brushing the pie crust later) and beat together with the cream cheese until smooth.
-
Put 20 grams of butter for the pie filling in a non-stick pan and set over low heat.
-
Pour in the apples cut into small pieces and stir-fry over medium-low heat.
-
Fry until the apples are soft, add a small spoonful of starch water to thicken and mix well.
-
Turn off the heat, pour in a few drops of lemon juice, mix well and set aside. The pie filling is ready.
-
Take out the refrigerated pie crust, use a rolling pin to roll it out to about the thickness of a coin, spread it on the pie plate, and use the rolling pin to cut the edges neatly.
-
Use a fork to poke some small holes in the pie crust. Leave at room temperature for 20 minutes (this way the baked pie will not shrink).
-
Use a rolling pin to roll the extra pie crust into thin slices, cut it into long strips, and use a mold to print some flowers to cover the pie filling later.
-
After resting for 20 minutes, spread the fried apple pieces evenly on the pie crust, and pour in the cream cheese and egg liquid.
-
Cut the pie crust into long strips and weave it into a mesh according to your favorite pattern (if you don't want to make a heart-shaped pie, the pie crust prepared in this recipe is enough. I thought this pie plate had not been used yet, so I left some pie crust to use on the heart-shaped pie plate). Finally, brush a layer of egg wash on the pie crust (a little of the egg wash you just made for cream cheese is enough).
