Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash strawberries and remove stems. Soak in baking soda for a while before washing, scrubbing carefully.
-
Cut into small pieces. You can also use a mixer to make a paste. If cut into small pieces, it will taste grainy.
-
Pour into a clean pot and add a piece of rock sugar. Don’t use too much rock sugar, otherwise it will be very greasy. After the strawberries are cooked in a hot pot, they will have less water and become sweeter, so there is no need to add a lot of sugar. You can add a little water to let the strawberries cook a little longer.
-
Keep stirring until it thickens and then turn off the heat. You can add a little lemon juice, which is said to make the taste fresher, easier to make sauce, and better preserved. But there is no preparation here, just save it.

Prepare a clean bottle in advance, pour the strawberry jam into it, seal it and store it in the refrigerator. ^^
