Spring Festival--is the sweetest and happiest day of our year. This year’s New Year’s Eve dinner will be eaten at home just like last year. After eating, watch the Spring Festival Gala, wait until 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, and light the fireworks to welcome the New Year. For the New Year's Eve dinner, I didn't prepare too much meat, because now is different from before. I usually eat everything I should eat, and there are old people on top and young people on the bottom, and their stomachs have to be taken into consideration. But that doesn’t mean I should just deal with it casually. For such an important reunion dinner, I want to make it more colorful and more popular with my family. Just like a restaurant, serve everyone one dish at a time, cooking a table full of love for your family with your hands. For this year’s New Year’s Eve dinner, I prepared 12 dishes, representing the 12 months of the year. I plan to serve desserts for the first and last dishes, which means sweetness from beginning to end. I updated the 10 dishes in the middle one by one according to the order of the menu I expected. This is the first dessert to be served - Sweet Purple Sweet Potato and Snow Fungus Soup, which symbolizes the red and purple colors of the New Year. (Purple sweet potatoes, white fungus, and quail eggs are all very nutritious foods, and are suitable for both the elderly and children)
