A friend recommended the Wangjiawu bacon and sausages from Xiangxi Cured Meat. After I tried it, I found that the bacon was smoked and tasted really good. It was also made from three-layered local pork. The meat was firm and delicious. I specially bought fresh bamboo shoots to stir-fry with the bacon. The fresh bamboo shoots can absorb the aroma of the bacon and absorb the oil, making the meat taste fragrant but not greasy.
