Braised grapefruit peel
Overview
When I was a child, every time after eating grapefruit, my mother would use the peel to cook or marinate it in soy sauce. It would not be wasted, and we all loved to eat it.

This is the peel left after eating a grapefruit

Peel off the outer yellow skin and cut the remaining skin into strips

Boil water and blanch

After blanching, rinse in clean water for half an hour, then pick it up and dry it. (This step needs to be done four or five times, otherwise it will be very bitter)

First heat the oil pan and saute garlic and salt until fragrant.

Then pour a bowl of water and boil

Pour in the grapefruit peel and simmer until the water dries up.

After the water dries, just add salt and soy sauce.
