Steps
-
When buying potatoes and ham at the supermarket, it is best to choose long oval-shaped potatoes, which are easier to bake.
-
Peel and wash the potatoes, and place a pair of chopsticks underneath to prevent cutting the potatoes.
-
Cut the potatoes evenly into slices about 3-5 mm thin, the bottoms must still be connected.
-
Wrap potatoes in foil, matte side facing out. Put it into the middle rack of the oven at a temperature of 250 degrees. The time varies from 30 to 50 minutes, depending on the conditions of each oven. Wear gloves and pinch the tin foil outside the potatoes. If they become soft, it means the potatoes are ready.
-
While the potatoes are roasting, cut the ham into semi-circular slices. Do not cut it too thick. The thickness of the slices should be 3-5 mm.
-
Sprinkle the cut ham with salt, black peppercorns and salad oil and mix well.
-
Take out the baked potatoes, peel off the foil and let cool for a while.
-
Place the ham slices into the potatoes one by one, slowly and without breaking the potatoes.
-
After clamping, use a brush to brush a layer of olive oil on the surface of the potatoes and put them in the oven.
-
Lower the oven temperature to 200 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes.
