  1. Wash the dried fish maw.

  2. Place the fish maw on the steaming rack, add ginger slices to remove the smell, add water to the steamer and steam for about 15 minutes.

  3. After steaming, take it out and let it cool. It is normal for the fish maw to shrink after steaming.

  4. Put the fish maw and ginger slices into a container, add purified water, cover it and put it in the refrigerator for about 24 hours, changing the water once or twice in the middle.

  5. After 24 hours, take it out, cut it, wash it and use it to make soup or dessert. Note: If you cannot use up the foamed fish maw, please put it in a fresh-keeping bag and refrigerate it. Just take it out and defrost it when needed.
