Steps
-
Prepare a piece of pork suet and rinse it repeatedly with water
-
Cut the suet into thin and uniform slices of the same size
-
Put the lard into a pot and add a small amount of water soaked in the lard. Boil the oil over high heat, stirring repeatedly to allow the lard to heat evenly
-
After the water boils, turn to low heat and simmer slowly. The oil will be milky white at first. When the oil becomes clear and transparent, add a little salt and scoop it out with a spoon. Before scooping, prepare a clean metal container without water.
-
The boiled oil should be scooped out in time, and the heat can be turned off when the oil residue turns light golden yellow. The oil residue is also chopped and added to the meat stuffing to make wontons or dumplings, both of which are very delicious.

After it's completely cooled, cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. Scoop out as much as you need, it's very simple
