Fragrant and refreshing tomato and blood orange sandwich
Overview
I traveled to Xiamen in mid-April and tasted a salad made of tomatoes and oranges for the first time at breakfast in a five-star hotel in Xiamen. What I felt at that time was first of all, novelty, because I had never seen such a combination before; secondly, it was surprise, because the perfect combination of the fragrance of fresh basil and the aroma of olive oil made the seemingly difficult-to-combine fruits and vegetables feel so refreshing and delicious in my mouth! Let me continue that wonderful feeling. When I get home, I will start making it immediately so that my family can enjoy it together. Now that the weather is getting hotter, it’s really great to eat some of these refreshing fruits and vegetables!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash and chop fresh basil leaves;
-
Place the chopped basil into a small bowl
-
Add salt and olive oil (I added grapeseed oil) to a bowl
-
Cut tomatoes and oranges into thin slices respectively;
-
Pour the mixed sauce over the tomato slices;
-
Then place an orange slice on each tomato slice. This forms the tomato and orange sandwich (haha, I came up with this name).
