Set aside tomatoes, meatballs, green onions and ginger.

Cut the tomatoes into cross-sections, add water to the pot and bring to a boil, then blanch the tomatoes in the pot.

Peel and dice the blanched tomatoes.

Slice onions and ginger, mix 2 tablespoons of cooking wine, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, and 1 tablespoon of sugar into a sauce and set aside.

Put oil in a pan, heat it up and stir-fry onion and ginger until fragrant

Add diced tomatoes, stir-fry the water, and add the prepared sauce.

Add appropriate amount of water, a little soy sauce, salt to taste and bring to a boil.

When the sauce is boiling, add the meatballs, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer until the soup becomes thick.

Plate and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
