Apple Cake
Overview
I have always been a little afraid of making apple cake. I feel that this cake is heavy in fat and sugar (I am afraid of getting fleshy). It was already dark when it was baked. When the whole apple cake was photographed, the light was too dark and it looked ugly. This cake completely breaks your usual definition of cake. It has no gorgeous appearance, but rich content. Sister Hong’s recipe is for a 10-inch mold. I only have an 8-inch mold, so I changed the recipe. I slightly reduced the butter and sugar. After baking, I tasted it while it was still hot. It was not sweet at all, and it is very suitable for my family’s taste.
