Prepare the required materials

Soak white fungus for more than 3 hours in advance. The longer it is, the waxier it will be.

Wash the soaked white fungus, cut it into pieces with scissors, remove the roots and put it in a casserole, add enough water, bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce to low heat.

Peel, core and cut the pears into small cubes and set aside.

After simmering for about 40 minutes, the white fungus has become glutinous and the soup has thickened. Add the pear cubes and continue simmering for another 20 minutes.

Add the red dates and wolfberry and simmer for about ten minutes.
