1. 1 Remove the stems of kumquats and wash them

   

2. 2 Make a shallow vertical cut on the orange, remove the seeds, and place in a steamer

   

3. 3 Put sugar and water into the pot, the water should cover the kumquats

   

4. 4 Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then turn to low heat and simmer until the surface of the kumquats becomes transparent and the soup becomes thick
