Homemade strawberry jam

I like to make strawberry jam when I have nothing to do. It’s healthy. The elderly at home love it. I feel very happy. O(∩_∩)O~

After picking fresh strawberries home, soak them in light salt water.

After washing the strawberries, remove the leaves on them (be sure to clean the leaves, otherwise it will affect the taste). Cut the strawberries into small pieces and sprinkle them with sugar according to your own taste. My family doesn’t like sweet ones, so I put less.

After adding sugar, let it sit for two or three hours and you will see the strawberry juice come out.

Then simmer over low heat and add an appropriate amount of rock sugar. Be sure to stir constantly during this period to avoid sticking to the pan.

Add the juice of half a lemon and cook until the strawberries are almost completely integrated into the juice.

Pour into a crisper and cool.
