Otherwise, there is no need to cover the pot, because millet is particularly easy to fall into the pot. If you are not careful, it will fall into the pot, so I never cover the pot and cook slowly over low heat. Put the pot under boiling water and cook over low heat. The millet will not stick to the bottom of the pot, and the more it cooks, the more sticky it becomes.
