Apple Pie
Overview
Anappleadaykeepsthedoctoraway I always keep this sentence in my mind, so I stock up on apples and various fruits at home from time to time. Whenever I pass by a fruit stand, I always take some home. But when I get home, I feel cold and immediately don’t want to eat it. As expected, I always buy this and that during the Chinese New Year. I have a lot of apples at home. So I spent a long time thinking about a bag of apples at home on my day off, and suddenly came up with the idea of making an apple pie. In this way, I can have a wonderful afternoon tea time again. Don’t talk too much, just put it into practice. Then let’s get to work!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Soften the butter first, then add the beaten egg liquid
-
Sift in low-gluten flour
-
Sift in the sugar and mix well
-
After mixing evenly, knead it into a dough and place it in the refrigerator for half to 1 hour
-
During the refrigeration process, you can make apple filling. Cut the apples into cubes and prepare all the ingredients
-
Melt the unsalted butter in a pot. The heat does not need to be very high
-
Add white sugar and mix evenly until the sugar is incorporated
-
Stir evenly and add diced apples, stir-fry slowly until the apples become soft
-
Add lemon juice, stir-fry evenly, let cool and set aside
-
After the apple filling is completed, you can continue to complete the dough part. Take out the dough, take out two-thirds to make the pie base, spread it on the plastic wrap and roll it out to a thickness of about 3 mm
-
Cover it on the mold and neaten the edges
-
After finishing the bottom of the pie crust, pour in the cooled apple filling and spread evenly
-
Continue to roll out the remaining dough, cut it into noodles of even width, and place them staggered on top of the filling
-
Finally, apply egg wash and bake
-
Adjust the temperature according to your own oven temperament. I used 160 degrees for upper heat and 200 degrees for lower heat, 25-30 minutes
