Simple and quick microwave edamame
Overview
Salted edamame is a side dish that goes well with wine, both in China and Japan. However, I can never cook edamame well. Every time I cook the edamame, the pods turn yellow and the beans are too soft and cooked, so I came up with this microwave edamame. Just microwave at 800W for about 6 minutes, and you will have fresh, salty and delicious green edamame!

-
Put the fresh edamame in a basin, sprinkle a little salt, rub it gently for a while to remove the dirt on the surface, and then rinse it with water.
-
Cut off the top and bottom tips of each bean.
-
After all the beans are processed, put the beans into a heat-resistant glass container, sprinkle with a little salt, stir evenly and let it sit for about 10 minutes to let the salt taste in. If you like the taste of star anise, you can add more star anise.
-
Microwave the marinated edamame at 800W for about 6 minutes. The microwave time will depend on the amount of edamame. If it's not done yet, you can continue to turn it for a few more minutes.

Immediately run the edamame beans through cold water, which can wash away the surface salt and make the edamame beans crispy. It is a very simple method. If you don’t want to turn on the heat in summer, you can use the microwave to make edamame beans!
