Homemade Orange Marmalade

Homemade Orange Marmalade

Overview

Winter is the season when oranges are on the market in large quantities and are one of the main fruits. As someone who doesn't like to eat fruits, I quite like oranges, but I only like to eat very sweet sugar oranges, tangerines, etc. The sour taste is unbearable to me. I bought some oranges a few days ago. They were not too sweet and I didn’t want to waste them. I suddenly thought that I might as well make orange jam. I had made blueberry jam before and the effect was pretty good, so I used the same method to make orange jam. It tastes very good, and it’s no worse than the ones bought outside. The most important thing is that there are no preservatives or additives in it. Let’s eat it with confidence~ For breakfast, eat sliced toast, spread the bread sauce you made, and have a glass of milk or juice. Not to mention how delicious it is, haha

  2. Wash the oranges, peel them, put them in a bowl and set aside

  3. If you are using small sugar oranges, you can cut the entire middle in half like I did and use a toothpick to pick out the orange core. If you buy a larger orange, separate the orange segments one by one, cut in the middle, and take out the orange core

  4. Fill the soup pot with half a pot of water. After the water boils, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar. It depends on your preference. If you like it sweeter, add a little more, but not too much, because the soup will be very sweet when it thickens in the end

  5. The rock sugar is boiled and turned into sugar water

  9. Cook until it becomes thick, then turn off the heat, put it into a sealable glass jar, cover it, cool it to room temperature and then put it in the refrigerator
