Halloween pumpkin lantern carving
Overview
The annual Halloween is coming again. Last year I carved a wizard pumpkin lantern, but many friends said it was very difficult and asked me if I could write a simple and easy pumpkin lantern recipe? Today I specially made an expression carving, which is zero difficulty! Give it a try and you’ll have no trouble making pumpkin lanterns this Halloween.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Choose a pumpkin with a good shape. Don’t have any rotten pumpkins. Choose two skins and wash them clean
-
Use a toothpick to gently draw a circle on it. Be careful not to use too much force. Just make it visible with your eyes. Then use a V-shaped knife to cut a circle along the line to form a lace lid. If you don't have a V-shaped knife, you can also directly use a kitchen knife to cut a round lid. Don't open the lid too big or too small. Just open the upper quarter of the pumpkin
-
Use a baller or rice spoon to remove the flesh
-
After removing the flesh, use a melon baller to scoop out a layer of flesh. Be careful not to waste and throw away the scraped flesh. Use it well. Steam it to make pumpkin cakes or pumpkin pancakes, cook pumpkin porridge, etc. It can be turned into beautiful delicacies
-
Use an oil marker to draw facial expressions on the pumpkin, mainly the eyes, nose, and mouth. Expressions can be rich and exaggerated, and you can express various expressions of joy, anger and sorrow
-
Use a knife to dig out the painted part, light a candle and put it inside to see the effect. It looks so miserable and scary!
-
Then use the same method to make a pumpkin lantern with a cheerful expression
-
Two expressions, the effect of combining them
-
Don’t be afraid, come and smile
