Rice cooker cake
Overview
Thinking about my first rice cooker cake, I started on the road of baking. After living for so many years, there has never been an oven in my life. Maybe this field seems too far away from me, and I have never entered this pit. In the summer of 2014, more than 4 months after giving birth, we moved from my mother-in-law's house to our own house and to our new home. We were finally single. The feeling of freedom was so beautiful. The maternity leave was about to end at that time. I still had a baby of a few months, and I was working and taking care of the baby. How could I have time and energy to do anything else? To make some homely meals, I just put the baby in the stroller and push it to the kitchen. I didn't think about the oven or baking. Until the second half of the year, I occasionally saw a post on the Internet about using a rice cooker to make cakes. I thought it was very interesting and magical, so I tried it when I got home from get off work that day. The child was still young at the time and went to bed early. After he slept, I had some time to work. The moment I opened the lid of the pot, the room was filled with fragrance. The cake was extremely successful, golden and fragrant. It was the first cake in my life. I couldn’t be more excited to make it myself. After that, there were second and third times, both with a rice cooker. At that time, there was no egg beater, so I just held the chopsticks and beat it with my hands. Now that I think about it, it was really stupid, and I was very tired. Later, I told my child’s father that I wanted to buy an egg beater and a cake maker (I saw it online). At that time, the child’s father said, you should just buy an oven. Not only can you bake cakes, but you can bake anything. I hesitated for a moment. I had never touched an oven before. I was afraid that such a professional guy would not be able to handle it, so I put the proposal on hold for the time being. Later, when I was shopping online, I accidentally saw a trial report about a flour. Many people posted baking steps and works, which immediately attracted my attention. It turns out that everyone is doing home baking. Maybe many people are not professionals, but they make such tempting delicious food. I immediately followed it I searched online for methods. Life in modern society is efficient and fast. With the Internet, everything is shared, and you can learn even if you don't know anything. I suddenly strengthened my belief in baking, and later bought an oven. A small oven that costs more than 100 yuan. Although it is not very high-end, it is enough for a newbie like me. In order to learn how to bake, I searched online for baking methods from time to time, so I discovered Meitian in 2015. I was so stupid at that time. Alas, when I saw a recipe I liked, I copied and pasted it into a word document, then typed it out from the printer in the office. If I typed too much, I stapled it, took it home and put it in the kitchen cabinet. After the child fell asleep, I went to the kitchen to read it and cook it while watching it. Why not register as a member and download the app? It is so stupid after giving birth. Finally, at the beginning of 2016, when the Spring Festival was approaching, I saw that Meitian had an event where everyone is a gourmet. I thought it was very interesting, so I registered as a member and joined the Meitian family. During the Chinese New Year, I just learned how to pass on recipes. I also won a rookie award in this event. I saw Xiaomei’s private message and she was so beautiful. I don’t know how long it took, probably in the first half of 2016, when I realized that there was a topic section besides recipes. Isn’t it hopelessly stupid? Haha, it’s okay, but I’m finally integrated into the organization. I’ve learned a lot from everyone along the way. Now when I make a rice cooker cake, I can recall the first time I made it. That first rice cooker cake was the beginning of a sweet career, and then it got out of hand until now, haha, that’s all.
