Frosted peanuts~classic snacks
Overview
When I was a kid, there was a canteen that sold frosted peanuts. They were covered in thick frosting and I loved eating them. My mother would buy a little bit of them if she gave her pocket money, and they would be eaten in a while. I saw some frosted peanuts made by someone the other day and it reminded me of my childhood. The decision must be made by oneself. The first time I made it, it turned out to be a success. It was a small dish and my daughter and I finished it in a short time. Although the frosting is not as thick as when I was a child, it is still very delicious, full of the taste of childhood, and a good casual snack.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare a small plate of peanuts. Homegrown peanuts are not that uniform in size.
-
Do not put oil in the pot, pour the peanuts in and stir-fry over low heat, stirring constantly. Fry the peanuts until they make a popping sound and the skins can fall off with a gentle twist.
-
These are fried peanuts.
-
Put a small amount of water in the pot, pour in an appropriate amount of white sugar, bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
-
Simmer until the syrup bubbles and becomes thick.
-
Immediately after turning off the heat, pour in the peanuts and stir evenly to coat them all with syrup.
-
Then immediately pour in the cornstarch, adding a little less the first time, and the peanuts will still stick together after stirring evenly. The second time, add a little cornstarch and stir again. When you add it for the third time, the peanuts are surrounded by cornstarch, and they separate after a few stirs.
-
As a rule of thumb, the more syrup you need, the more starch you need to put in. If the peanuts still stick together, add more starch until the surroundings of the peanuts turn white and they separate when stir-frying.

The first time I did it was a success, and I solved it with my daughter in a while.
