Honey grapefruit tea
Overview
I bought grapefruit yesterday and made my own honey grapefruit tea. It feels more fragrant and sweeter than the bought one. Pomelo and honey have the effects of whitening and removing freckles, rejuvenating the skin, and clearing away heat and reducing internal heat. If you like it, take a look.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Apply a layer of salt to the grapefruit and brush it clean; peel off the grapefruit peel
-
Cut the peeled yellow skin into filaments about 4 cm long and 1 mm thick. The thinner the better
-
Marinate the cut grapefruit peel in salt water for 1 hour
-
Take out the pulp, I only used less than half of the grapefruit pulp.
-
Put the pickled grapefruit peel into clean water, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, until it softens and removes the bitterness, then rinse with clean water. Those who are not afraid of hardship don’t need to rush.
-
Put the processed grapefruit peel and pulp into a clean, oil-free pot, add an appropriate amount of water and rock sugar, and simmer over medium-low heat for 1 hour until it becomes sticky. Be careful to stir frequently while simmering to avoid sticking to the pot
-
Use a spoon to stir into a puree (this step will be more delicate if you use a blender)
-
After it cools down, add honey, mix well and make honey grapefruit tea. Store it in a sealed jar in the refrigerator. Rinse it with warm water when drinking
