Shrimp and Basil Pasta
Overview
When I go to a Western restaurant to eat, my children’s favorite thing to order is pasta. Almost all the children I’ve met don’t like pasta. My friend’s three-year-old baby can still hold a plate of pasta and eat it with gusto when taken out to eat alone. Pasta is the Western food that is closest to the Chinese eating habits. It is a food. Although it is made of flour like Chinese noodles, the wheat variety used in pasta is different from what we eat. It has a harder texture, high protein content, and high gluten. The pasta made with such flour can withstand cooking, has a chewy texture, and will not burn when cooked for a long time.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot and bring to a boil. After the water boils, add a spoonful of salt, then put the pasta in and cook.
-
Use chopsticks to stir the pasta halfway to prevent it from sticking. Add a little salt when cooking to make the pasta more flavorful. After cooking, take it out, rinse it with water and set aside.
-
Pour a little cooking oil into the pot. When the oil is hot, add onion cubes and stir-fry the shrimp quickly to bring out the aroma of the ingredients.
-
Then pour in the ready-made pasta sauce. The pasta sauce I bought this time only had sauce and every kind of meat, so I added some shrimp and stir-fried it.
-
Fully blend the shrimp with the pasta sauce and onion aroma. If you like it stronger, you can add a small piece of butter at this time to enhance the flavor.
-
Finally, pour the cooked pasta in and mix it evenly with a spatula so that the pasta is evenly coated with the basil tomato sauce. It is rich, delicious and has a very authentic taste.
