Old-fashioned fluffy sesame bread

Memories from childhood... I remember that there used to be an aunt riding a tricycle in front of my mother's work, selling sesame bread at the entrance of the alley every day. Soft and sweet bread was a rare and delicious snack when I was a kid!

Put the milk, eggs, sugar, flour, and yeast into the bread machine barrel in order, start the kneading program and knead the dough for 20 minutes.

When the dough becomes smooth, add the softened butter and continue kneading.

Knead to the complete stage, take a small piece of dough in your hands and easily pull out the film.

Put the dough back into the bread machine bucket, knead it into a round ball by hand and start the fermentation process.

Ferment until doubled in size

Remove the dough from the bread machine barrel, deflate and divide into 12 equal-sized pieces.

Take a small piece of dough and roll it into a long strip and flatten it slightly with your hands.

Roll up from one end

Use your hands to pinch both sides and roll them inwards.

And pinch the closing tightly

Place the seam side down neatly on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper, and put it into the oven to rise for 2 times until it doubles in size. Put a cup of hot water in the oven to maintain the humidity inside the oven

Remove the fermented dough from the oven and remove the cups.

Brush the surface of the bread with egg wash.

Sprinkle an appropriate amount of white sesame seeds on the surface.

Place in the middle and lower racks of the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, until the surface of the bread is golden brown. Take out of the oven and let cool immediately.
