Spicy Hanamaki
Overview
I often eat chive rolls, but today I’m going to change the flavor and add chili oil to make the rolls. It’s spicy and fragrant, and the whole family loves it.

Add yeast, warm water and flour to form a dough.

Ferment until doubled in size.

Roll the dough into a large square and sprinkle with salt.

Pour in the chili oil and spread evenly.

Sprinkle evenly with chopped chives.

Roll up from top to bottom.

Then cut into equal pieces.

Use chopsticks to make an impression in the middle.

Stretch the dough on both sides and turn it over to form a Hanamaki dough.

Place in the steamer and continue fermenting for 15 minutes.

Steam over high heat for 15 minutes, turn off the heat, and then simmer for 3 minutes before opening the lid.
