Overview
Bitube fish (also called pen-tube fish) stewed with tofu is a typical Qingdao (Jiaodong) dish. Every household cooks it, and some cabbage is added in winter. It is also called: bitube fish stewed with cabbage and tofu. Bitube fish is a slender cuttlefish, locally called sea rabbit, because this kind of bitube fish escapes quickly.
