Pumpkin and purple potato rolls

During the harvest season, it’s time to make all kinds of pumpkin delicacies. Today I’m making pumpkin and purple potato rolls. The colors made with Beibei pumpkin are different, so bright!

Peel the Beibei pumpkin and steam it. After cooling slightly, add a little sugar and yeast.

Add flour.

Stir until fluffy, without adding a drop of water (use pumpkin puree entirely).

Knead the dough and wait for it to rise (depending on the local temperature).

After it has risen, knead and defecate, divide into small portions, roll into a ball and add crushed purple sweet potato.

Tie it up like a bun.

Then roll it into ox tongue shape.

Just roll it up from one end.

Put it in the steamer and wait for the second proofing.

Pour cold water into the pot, boil the water and steam for 15 minutes, then simmer for 5 minutes and it’s ready!

The finished product is bright in color, soft and delicious!
