Overview
I made 2 ugly toasts, but they were very soft and delicious. It’s a great way to get rid of leftover whipped cream.

-
Put the main ingredients into the bread machine, knead according to the dough program for 15 minutes, stop, restart the dough program and knead until complete. (That is, 1 and a half dough programs. The kneading program of my bread machine is 30 minutes, and the total kneading time is 45 minutes. Open the lid the whole time and knead to prevent the dough temperature from being too high.)
-
Knead out the film. This is the key to soft and stringy bread.
-
Ferment until doubled in size. (Dip your fingers in flour and rub it in. The dough will not shrink or collapse when you pull it out.)
-
Exhaust and divide into 6 equal parts.
-
Take one portion and roll it into an oval shape.
-
Fold up and down.
-
Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15-20 minutes.
-
Then roll it into a long strip, the same width as the toast mold.
-
Roll up.
-
Put into 450g toast mold.
-
Let it rise for the second time until it is 8-9 minutes full. Brush with egg wash and place it in a preheated oven. Bake at 340 degrees Fahrenheit (170 degrees Celsius) for 40 minutes. After coloring, cover it with tin foil to prevent it from getting too dark. .
-
Remove from oven and let cool on rack.

Although ugly in appearance.

But it was still very soft and silky the next day.
