Rice crispy rice with no additives
Overview
I have always loved eating crispy rice, especially the ones made in big pots when I was a kid. Now it’s hard to eat them. After I became pregnant, my mother-in-law brought a big pot and made it easily with the same taste as when I was a kid

The rice is soaked two hours in advance because it is for my son to eat, so it is softer

Put water in the pot

After the water boils, add rice

Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer.

You can smell the rice in about 10 minutes, and it will be cooked in about 20 minutes. The fire will be faster, but the rice will be harder.

Shovel out the rice on top, and what's left is the rice cake. Just smelling it will make you want to eat it.

I like it thin and crispy, so I make it thinner.
