Hakka Yong Tau Foo
Overview
I have always liked Yong Tau Foo, but I have never tried cooking it myself. On a rare Saturday, I got up early and bought two big bags of vegetables. The interest suddenly came over, so I made this finished dish, haha~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Rinse the purchased bean paste, dry it, and use chopsticks to poke a hole in the middle of the bean paste so that you can take it back and stuff it with meat.
-
Chop the purchased pork into smooth pieces and add salt and chicken essence while chopping (if you don’t want to do it yourself, you can just buy ready-chopped)
-
Slide the meat into the bean paste.
-
Heat oil in the pot
-
Fry the tofu filled with meat (fry the meaty side first to prevent the meat from falling out)
-
When golden brown, turn over and fry the other side, then assemble after both sides are cooked.
-
In the remaining oil in the pot, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
-
Pour in the prepared soy sauce and water
-
After the juice in the pot is hot, put the fried bean paste in and simmer for two minutes to let it absorb the juice.
-
Finally, sprinkle with chopped green onion and it’s done
-
Freshly baked. (As an aside, the green onions are those grown on my balcony)
